Some would say normal service has resumed for the Warriors, with their mixed start to the NRL season.
This time last year, they were comfortably inside the NRL's top eight after a five-game unbeaten run to start the season.
Fast forward 12 months and they find themselves four points off the bottom of the ladder, but on the flip side, they're only two points outside the top eight.
Through 11 games, they have four wins and seven losses on their record, but their start to the season will be regarded as one of missed opportunities - with four losses being by seven points or less.
"You have to look at some of the close losses they had - the one-point loss to the Storm and a couple of others against the Bunnies and Broncos," notes Newshub sports reporter Craig Norenbergs.
"They're only two points outside the eight, so it doesn't look as bad after 11 games as it is on paper with those seven losses."
But the Warriors will be tested in the second half of their campaign, with 10 of their 13 games against teams currently inside the NRL's top eight.
The question remains, can the Warriors defy the odds to scrape into the playoffs?
