Tall Blacks forward Finn Delany has impressed in his NBA Summer League debut for the Dallas Mavericks.
The 23-year-old scored seven points, gathered three rebounds and dished three assists in an efficient eight-minute stint during the Mavs' 113-81 win over the Houston Rockets.
The Breakers swingman is trying to earn in a spot in the Mavericks roster through the Las Vegas-based competition, which acts as a virtual trial for prospective young players.
Named to the New Zealand squad for the upcoming World Championships last week, Delany recently completed a stint with Serbian side FMP Belgrade, where he averaged 7.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game on 50 per cent shooting.
The athletic swingman is a product of the Breakers development system and was impressive for Auckland-based ANBL side down the final stretch of the 2018/19 season.
