The coach-less All Whites have secured a second fixture during the November international football window, confirming a match against Lithuania in their capital city Vilnius on November 17.

At 132, the Lithuanians sit 13 spots behind New Zealand on the FIFA world rankings - their last international win was over Sri Lanka (2-0) in July 2018.

They have never qualified for the World Cup or Euro championship, and currently sit bottom of their qualifying group for Euro 2020 without a win.

The fixture will mark the first meeting between the two nations on a football field, falling three days after the All Whites' outing against Republic of Ireland in Dublin.

"It is going to be great to see the All Whites in action," says NZ Football interim technical director Andy Boyens.

"We have had the Ireland game confirmed for a few months now and it's great to have locked in the second fixture in the window, which we've had in the works for a while now.

"We are confident we will have our new All Whites coach in place for these fixtures and we know this is an important time for the team, as we rebuild for FIFA world Cup qualifying."

Swiss Fritz Schmid stepped down from the coaching role last month, compiling a two-win, two-loss record with the national side, since assuming command in February 2018.
