Football: Kiwi Sarpreet Singh channels Justin Beiber during Bayern Munich initiation

He may be fleet of foot, but All White Sarpreet Singh isn't exactly a songbird.

The 20-year-old is living his footballing dream, linking up with German powerhouse Bayern Munich in July.

Singh made six pre-season appearances for the club and sat on the bench for his side's German Cup win over Energie Cottbus this week.

But his off-field feet have come to light, after Bayern released a video showcasing the musical talents of their four rookie signings.

Singh, Frenchmen Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez, and German Jann-Fiete Arp were called to sing for their teammates as an initiation rite.

To the delight of his amused audience, the former Wellington Phoenix midfielder opted for Justin Bieber's smash hit 'Baby'.

Some of his Bayern mates belted out the chorus, alongside Singh, whose performance could be summed up in one word - awkward.

Singh is likely to spend most of the upcoming season with the reserve team, after the recent signing of Croatian international Ivan Perisic.

Bayern have also been linked to former Liverpool star Phillipe Coutinho.
