Rising Kiwi football phenom Sarpreet Singh has made his biggest impression yet for new club Bayern Munich.

The 20-year-old played a star hand for the European powerhouse in the final of the Audi Cup tournament against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday (NZT), starting and playing the entire game, before scoring during the penalty shootout when the contest went to sudden death.

Unfortunately Singh's well-taken effort was followed by a miss from hs teammate to give the English club a 6-5 win after regulation time ended in a 2-2 draw.

The former Wellington Phoenix ace was up against a near full strength Tottenham side, that included the likes of superstar striker Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura, and Son Heung-Min.

Singh has signed a three-year deal with the German club's youth side Bayern Munich II, but such performances bode well for his chances of cracking the first-grade side.

He also played a 30-minute stint in Bayern's 6-1 demolition of Turkey's Fenerbache on Wednesday.
