Newshub Roundtable: EPL predictions for 2019/20 season

  • 10/08/2019

Football fans are drooling over the prospect of another exciting English Premier League season, which kicked-off on Saturday morning.

2018/19 runners-up Liverpool flexed their muscles with a comfortable 4-1 win over promoted club Norwich.

It was the Anfield club that last season set an unwanted record of scoring the most points (97), and not win the league.

That honour went to Manchester City (98) who won their last 14 games to run down Liverpool on the final day.

The contenders remain the usual suspects with City, Liverpool and Tottenham expected to battle it out for glory.

But what about the rebuilding Manchester United, a new look Arsenal or Frank Lampard's Chelsea?

Some of Newshub's football heads have weighed in on their thoughts on how the top end of the table might play out.
