Champions League: Liverpool survive Salzburg scare

Titleholders Liverpool bounced back in the Champions League by winning a 4-3 thriller against RB Salzburg.

Mohamed Salah grabbed the winner at Anfield with his second of the game after Liverpool wasted a 3-0 lead established in the opening 36 minutes.

The victory took Juergen Klopp's side level with Salzburg on three points, one behind Group E leaders Napoli who were held 0-0 at Genk.

Elsewhere,Luis Suarez's double gave Barcelona a 2-1 win over Italian giants Inter Milan.

Suarez's volley and late finish from Lionel Messi's run rescued Barcelona against Inter Milan, who led through Lautaro Martinez, at the Camp Nou.

They are alongside Borussia Dortmund, who won 2-0 at Slavia Prague, on four points in Group F.

RB Leipzig lost 2-0 at home to Lyon, Zenit St Petersburg beat Benfica 3-1, Chelsea won 2-1 at Lille, and Ajax won 3-0 at Valencia in other games.
