NHL's Los Angeles Kings aren't fans of international pop sensation Taylor Swift.
The American ice hockey franchise and their fans are claiming a curse of home arena - the Staples Center - driven by a Taylor Swift banner hanging in the rafters.
The banner commemorates Swift's sellout concert streak at the Californian venue, but for Kings fans, it's more than just an eyesore.
The 2012 and 2014 Stanley Cup champions haven't progressed past the first round of the playoffs since the Swift banner took its place next to some of the greats of Los Angeles professional sports.
Team management have decided to cover it with a blank cloth to appease fans who believe the banner has cursed the proud franchise.

"The connection to our fans is our highest priority and through our engagement they have made it clear that the banner shouldn't be part of their Kings game experience," Michael Altieri, senior vice president of marketing, communications and content for the Kings, told the Los Angeles Times.
"We didn't see an issue in covering it for our games and in fact see it as an opportunity to show our fans that we hear them."
The Kings beat Nashville on Sunday - the first game since the banner was covered.
Way to 'shake it off' guys.
