Rugby League: Kiwis star Nelson Asofa-Solomona reportedly involved in Bali brawl

The NRL Integrity Unit is investigating video footage of a wild brawl on the streets of Bali, reportedly involving Kiwis prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona.

Vision of the fight spread on social media, appearing to show Asofa-Solomona in an altercation outside a popular nightspot in the Seminyak area.

Fox Sports reports Asofa-Solomona was the man in the middle of the scrap, while the Sydney Morning Herald claims Melbourne Storm teammate Suliasi Vunivalu was also involved.

The Herald report says the altercation started after Vunivalu was punched from behind outside a Bali nightclub, then Asofa-Solomona took matters into his own hands.

"Melbourne Storm has reported an incident involving a member of our NRL squad, currently on holiday in Bali, to the NRL's Integrity Unit," the NRL said in a statement on Sunday night.

"Storm has launched a full investigation into what has occurred.

"Storm takes these type of incidents very seriously and will not be making any further public comment at this time."

On Sunday, Asofa-Solomona posted footage on his Instagram account from Bali, along with Vunivalu and Tui Kamickamicka. His account has since been set to private.

Other Storm players in Bali include Cameron Munster, Josh Addo-Carr, Suliasi Vunivalu, Sandor Earl and fellow Kiwis international Brandon Smith.

It is unclear whether any other Storm players were involved in the incident.

Last week, Asofa-Solomona was named to play in New Zealand's upcoming two-game series with Great Britain, following a test against Australia at Wollongong.
