Auckland Tuatara have clinched their first-ever Australian Baseball league home series win with a 4-2 victory over the Canberra Cavalry in their finale on Sunday.

The hosts clinched the four-game stand 3-1 to claim the second series triumph in the expansion club's history.

After a shaky start that saw they down by two runs in the second inning, the hosts bounced back quickly to tie the game, courtesy of Jared Walker and Kim Won-Seok.

With bases loaded an inning later, a stray pitch from the Cavalry saw another run in for the Tuatara, before a sacrifice fly from Josh Morgan gave them a two-run buffer that they'd never relinquish.

They're now tied for tird place with the Cavlary in the ABL's North East Division.

The Tuatara travel to Brisbane for their next series, which begins on Thursday.
