Sevens: New Zealand beat Canada to remain top of Pool C

The All Blacks Sevens have continued their unbeaten run at the Dubai Sevens with a 31-7 thrashing of Canada.

After beating Wales 36-7 on day one, the Kiwi side put away a stubborn North American side.

Auckland and Hurricanes star Salesi Rayasi put their rivals to the sword, scoring a hat-trick of tries in his first game starting in black.

Joe Webber opened the scoring for the Kiwis, giving them a 5-0 lead. 

Rayasi scored the next three for New Zealand, showing his pace and power to seal the win over Canada. 

Nathan Hirayama scored the only try for Canada, before Regan Ware cross to cap off the All Blacks win. 

New Zealand face Samoa in their final pool game at 2:28am on Saturday.
