EPL: Short-handed Arsenal fight back against Chelsea

Arsenal overcame a one-man deficit to twice come from behind and earn an English Premier League draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday (NZT).

In the 26th minute, defender David Luiz was red-carded for a foul in the box, reducing the visitors to 10 men for the remainder of the match. Jorginho converted the ensuing penalty to put the hosts ahead.

Returning for the second half down 0-1, Arsenal struck back through a moment of magic from teenage prodigy Gabriel Martinelli, who counter-attacked the length of the pitch to slot home and equalise.

Cesar Azpilicueta looked to have secured a win for Chelsea with a goal in the 84th minute, until captain Hector Bellerin's individual brilliance three minutes later ensured honours were shared.

In other action, Manchester City batlled past Sheffield United 1-0 for their fourth-straight win on the back of a 73rd minute strike from Sergio Aguero.

Everton and Newcastle drew 2-2, Bournemeouth prevailed 3-1 against Brighton, and Aston Villa beat Watford 2-1.
