Super Rugby 2020: Team of the week - round six

OPINION: With Rieko Ioane moving to the midfield, the All Blacks may be looking for another left winger, and that man could be Mark Telea.

Telea leads the competition in running metres this year, he seems evasive and has a massive fend.

Find out who else made this round's team of the week.

1-Ofa Tu'ungafasi (Blues): The 27-year-old didn't miss a tackle and scrummed very well.

2-Codie Taylor (Crusaders): The best of an average group of hookers this week, Taylor showed speed with ball in hand, threw well and made 18 tackles.

3-Ross Geldenhuys (Chiefs): Scrummed very well, was there at the breakdown and put in some big tackles.

4-Michael Allardice (Chiefs): The lock was solid for the Waikato side all game, made 19 big tackles and was decent in the lineout.

5-Scott Barrett (Crusaders): Huge game defensively for the captain, made 25 tackles in a bruising performance.

6-Lachlan Boshier (Chiefs): The Chiefs look like a different team when this man plays, an animal at the breakdown and made 12 big tackles.

7-Tom Christie (Crusaders): The leading tackler in Super Rugby, he loves contact, another 21 tackles this week, didn't miss any - another monster outing from the flanker.

8-Pita Gus Sowakula (Chiefs): From the opening seconds of the game, the big no. 8 was on, making breaks and getting metres. Big performance.

9-Brad Weber (Chiefs): Broke the game open in the second half with two classy tries, was at his pacy brilliant best.

10-Otere Black (Blues): Another standout from Black, knew when to kick in behind and knew when to run the ball, another match where he was perfect from the tee.

11-Mark Telea (Blues): May be the best left winger in the country, eases past defenders and has a brutal fend on him, 140 running metres, 11 defenders beaten and a classy try.

12-Anton Lienert-Brown (Chiefs): A solid outing from the All Blacks second-five, set up a try, scored one of his own and was ever reliable on defence.

13-Rieko Ioane (Blues): Looks the goods in the midfield, got active on Saturday night, was involved in the attack and showed nice skill with some good offloads.

14-Shaun Stevenson (Chiefs): Provided the Chiefs with the moment of the match, his out-the-back flick to Weber - scored a nice try too.

15-George Bridge (Crusaders): Playing out of position but for the most part nailed it, was nearly impossible for the Reds to stop, beat 10 defenders and scored a vital try.
