The greatest women's mixed martial artist of all time has added to her résumé with a dominant performance at UFC 250.

Brazilian Amanda Nunes defended her featherweight title for the first time, shutting out Canadian Felicia Spencer over five rounds.

Nunes' history-making performance was near flawless, landing 84 more significant strikes than Spencer, who never threatened with her highly touted grappling game.

'The Lioness' becomes the first fighter in UFC history to hold two and defend two titles at the same time, extending her six-year win streak to 11, including knockouts of Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg.

Nunes' next opponent is unclear, with no clear contender in either featherweight or bantamweight, and with wife Nina set to give birth later this year, the 32-year-old may sit on the sidelines and wait for a challenger to emerge.

The main event capped off an exciting card of fights that produced three first-round finishes.

Bantamweight prospect Sean O'Malley launched himself into title conversation with a vicious one-punch knockout win over veteran Eddie Wineland to open the show. The undefeated American improved to 12-0 as a professional, including six knockouts in his last eight fights.

Men's bantamweight division enjoyed a showcase night, with three marquee fights.

Former champion Cody Garbrandt rebounded from three straight knockout losses, producing one of the most complete performances of his career in knocking out Brazilan Raphael Assuncao at the end of the second round.

'No Love' launched a buzzer-beating right hand that put Assuncao to sleep, putting three years of frustrations behind the 28-year-old and reigniting his career.

But the star-making performance of the night went to Aljamain Sterling, who likely earned a title shot in his next fight. Sterling monstered fellow American Cory Sandhagan in 90 seconds, scoring a quick takedown, securing the back position and locking in a rear-naked choke for an impressive win.

Sterling will fight the winner of Peter Yan and Jose Aldo, who meet for the vacant bantamweight title later this year.
