NRL 2020: NZ Warriors duo David Fusitu'a, Lachlan Burr ruled out of Melbourne Storm clash

NZ Warriors duo David Fusitu'a and Lachlan Burr have been ruled out of Friday's NRL clash against the Melbourne Storm at Sydney's Jubilee Stadium,

On Thursday, both players failed concussion protocols, after sustaining head knocks during last week's 40-12 defeat to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Gerard Beale has been named to replace Fusitu'a on the wing, while Poasa Faamausili has been promoted to the starting side in place of Burr, with Josh Curran set to join the bench.

The Warriors currently have 12 players sidelined by injury, including key forwards Jazz Tevaga, Eliesa Katoa and Leeson Ah Mau.

The match was initially scheduled for Melbourne's AAMI Park, but will now take place in Kogarah, south of Sydney, due to the recent COVID-19 spike in Victoria.

The Warriors have not won at Kogarah since 2003 and have not beaten the Storm since 2015.
