A bizarre half-time altercation between teammates has marred Tottenham's 1-0 Premier League win over Everton.
Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfield maestro Son Heung-min had to be separated by other Spurs players, as they made their way off Tottenham Stadium on Tuesday morning.
Lloris made a bee-line for Son at the sound of the referee's whistle, charging towards the Korean and pushing him, before Harry Winks and Giovani Lo Celso split the pair.
Spurs led just before the break, when Son's muffed pass found Everton striker Richarlison in an attacking spot, almost costing his team's lead. The Brazilian blasted wide, but Lloris was infuriated with his teammate's faux pas.
When the players returned from the half-time break, Son approached Lloris and the two seemingly made up with an embrace in the tunnel.
Spurs' 1-0 win came courtesy of a first-half deflected goal from Lo Celso. The Argentine's shot deflected off Everton defender Michael Keane, sending keeper Jordan Pickford the wrong way.
After their loss to Sheffield United last week, the win was much-needed for Tottenham, moving the London club to eighth. Everton are four points adrift in 11th spot.
