82 mins - TRY HAWKE'S BAY - Textbook 5m lineout drive, over goes skipper Ash Dixon and the Magpies have stolen victory. Bedlam at McLean Park!

80 mins - Monster Hawke's Bay scrum! They win the penalty and one last roll of the dice. Lineout just inside the Canterbury 10m. Another penalty will give them a chance to setup a 5m lineout.

79 mins - Bay hand on a pass takes us to a Canterbury scrum at the Magpies' 10m. They'll look to close this contest out here.

76 mins - The Bay steal the linoeut but another defensive penalty goes Canterbury's way. Lineout 15m from the line.

75 mins - The Magpie again work their way inside the Canterbury 22m. The crowd getting right into this, but a defensive penalty kills the Bay buzz. Lineout Canterbury near halfway.

72 mins - The Bay right back into it, 22m out. Penalty won, they'll launch from a lineout 10m out. Maul looking strong, Fakatava decides to grubber for Visinia from the base but it rolls into touch. Sketchy option there, and Canterbury clear past the 22m.

68 mins - TRY HAWKE'S BAY - Dixon drives and can't quite reach out to score, but Jonah Lowe is right on hand to pick up and force the ball forward to score. Timely try for the Magpies. McClutchie can't convert.

67 mins - The Bay hot on attack now, some momentum on their side...

59 mins - TRY CANTERBURY - Josh McKay with a beauty of an individual effort, reaching to reel in a tough pass and skinning the fullback to go 50m under the crossbar.

56 mins - TRY CANTERBURY - Canterbury camped right on the line. Two separate lunges from the base of the ruck looked to have scored, the first by Sam Darry. Referee saw neither, goes upstairs for advice... and they get there eventually.

Pre-match banter: All Blacks won't be granted early Christmas quarantine - PM Jacinda Ardern

The All Blacks shouldn't expect an early Christmas present from the Labour Government.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has confirmed players would not be granted an early release from quarantine to be home in time for Christmas.

The recently released Rugby Championship schedule has the All Blacks playing Australia in the final match of the tournament on December 12 in Sydney.

After returning to New Zealand, players and staff will be in quarantine until at least December 27, meaning they will miss spending Christmas with their families.

NZ Rugby is upset with the schedule, believing the All Blacks' final game would be scheduled for December 6, and is working with Rugby Australia and the other SANZAAR unions for an alternate solution, although SANZAAR is standing firm.

Ardern has ruled out an early quarantine release for the All Blacks, but hopes common sense prevails.

"We have to be consistent here," Ardern says. "We are asking people to go into managed isolation and many will be in there over the Christmas period.

"The easiest way to solve the issue the All Blacks are facing is if we stick to the existing game dates, which concluded on the 6th of December."

Rugby Australia interim chief executive Rob Clarke says his organisation will do all it can to ensure the All Blacks are home for Christmas
