NRLW: NZ Warriors women score first win of season with rout of St George Dragons

Australian rugby imports Ellia Green and Evania Pelite have starred in the NZ Warriors' 22-10 win over the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The sevens duo won Olympic gold in  Rio in 2016 and were part of several imported players patched together a week before the campaign got underway earlier this month.

The dead-rubber clash was the sides first and only win of the season following losses to the Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters.

Green and Pelite scored a try each in the club's biggest win since the competition began in 2018.

Forward Shania Power grabbed two tries in the second half, while winger Madison Bartlett also crossed the line.

The Dragons could only field 16 players due to injuries and suspensions, with star pair Kezie Apps and Isabella Kelly scratched earlier in the week.
