Boxing: Mike Tyson eats ear off Roy Jones Jr cake ahead of exhibition bout

While most Americans eat turkey on Thanksgiving, former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson decided to take a bite out of Roy Jones Jr before their exhibition bout on Sunday (NZ time).

Tyson is by no means a cannibal, but in a hilarious YouTube video, the 54-year-old is seen carving a cake of Jones' head and serving it to his kids.

In the video, he acknowledges he has a lot to be thankful for this year, before pulling out the turkey, which is actually a cake of Jones' head.

With a knife in hand, Tyson gives his daughter the nose, while his son wants the entire head.

Can you guess which part Tyson wanted?

He slices off one of Jones Jr's ears, making reference to the most controversial incident in his career, when he took a bite out of Evander Holyfied's ear during a fight.

"I like ears," he says. "It's much tastier than Evander's."

He later posted a photo on Instagram of the cake leftovers being placed in a dish for his dog, Mars.

Tyson will enter the ring for the first time in 15 years, when he faces former four-weight world champ Jones in Los Angeles over eight two-minute rounds.

The fight has already broken pay-per-view records on US broadcaster Triller.
