Rugby: All Blacks legend Dan Carter, Black Sticks star Honor Carter expecting fourth child

All Blacks legend Dan Carter and wife Honor Carter have announced they're expecting their fourth child.

The two retired sports stars took to Instagram to make the announcement.

The Carters have three kids - Marco born in 2013, Fox 2015 and Rocco 2019.

"My family is everything to me, my happiness and my greatest success," Carter has posted. "We couldn't be happier to announce we're expecting baby No.4.

"Honor Carter, you are a superwoman, mum and wife. We love you so much."

Former Black Sticks hockey star Honor says: "1, 2, 3.... 4! One more to adore!

"We’re so excited to meet our newest addition and what a lucky little one to have three adorable older brothers. Life’s about to get a little crazier mid year.

The Carters aren't the only sporting couple in New Zealand announcing new additions to their families.

Last month, former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and former Black Sticks star/wife Gemma announced they were expecting their second child.
