Australia have completed a series sweep over the White Ferns with a 21-run win in a rain-affected third one-day international match in Tauranga on Saturday.

In a contest reduced to 25 overs, the visitors managed to blast their way to 149/7, while the hosts only managed 128/9 in reply.

The result ensures Australia's record win streak extends to 24, with the White Ferns left shaking their heads after a demoralising 3-0 series defeat.

Dynamo Alyssa Healy led the way for the Aussies, slamming a quickfire 46 runs off 39 balls, including six boundaries.

Leigh Kasparek was one of the lone bright spots for the Kiwis, backing up her six-wicket haul in the second match with 3/24 to spearhead the NZ attack.

The White Ferns' run chase stumbled early and never recovered, with only stand-in captain Amy Satterthwaite (20) offering any resistance at the top of the order.

Lea Tahuhu presented a glimmer of hope at the end of the innings - top scoring with an unbeaten 21 runs that featured a pair of hefty sixes - but it wans't enough to prevent a comfortable Australia win.

Megan Schutt and Georgia Wareham were the pick of the Australian bowlers, claiming two wickets apiece.

Australia 149-7 from 25 overs (A Healy 46, B Mooney 28, L Kasperek 3/24, L Tahuhu 2/30) beat New Zealand 128-9 by 21 runs. Australia win the ODI series 3-0.
