47mins - Savea is a superman. He can barely walk and he shuts down a dangerous Crusaders attack with a wonderfully won breakdown turnover.

43mins - Try Hurricanes: Wes Goosen - Ardie Savea from the back of the scrum steamrolls Bryn Hall but is taken to the ground 15m out by Reece. Back to the left the come and Goosen steps two, and sprints away to score a wonderful try. Ardie Savea looks in trouble with a sore knee. (HUR 24-17)

Hurricanes still in control as Umaga-Jensen and Coles combine down the left, Coles steps back inside and finds Laumape who powers past three defenders to scpore next to the posts. (CRU 14-10)

19 mins - From the scrum, Umaga-Jensen breaks through the Crusaders defence. He gets down to the visitors 22 before putting in a grubber kick that Bridge gathers. As Mo'unga clears, referee Paul Williams awards a penalty against the home side.
In concerning news for Crusaders fans, Jack Goodhue has limped off.
17 mins - The Hurricanes look up for this contest especially in defence with Julian Savea forcing an error from Douglas with a big hit. The 'Canes will have a scrum 30 metres out from their line.
13 mins - The Crusaders win a penalty just five metres out from the 'Canes line and surprisingly take a quick tap. Straight away Savea gets over the ball to win a relieving penalty.
12 mins - The Crusaders looking to build their attack after their try and after seven phases Hall goes high and Savea has blocked a Crusaders player from challenging the visitors have a penalty.

The Crusaders are smarting from their first-ever loss in the NZ-only competition, when they were tipped up by the Highlanders last week.
The Hurricanes were poor against a misfiring Blues last week, and they need to come out on the right side of the result this afternoon if they want to make the Grand Final next month.
