NRL 2021: NZ Warriors winger David Fusitua sidelined for up to a month with hamstring injury

NZ Warriors have suffered another injury blow, with winger David Fusitua sidelined for up to a month.

Fusitua suffered a hamstring injury at training this week and while the strain is minor, NRL.com says the club expects he will need 2-4 weeks of rest.

The Tonga and Kiwis international joins a growing casualty list that includes Euan Aitken, Addin Fonua-Blake, Bayley Sironen, Pita Hiku and Chanel Harris-Tevita.

The Warriors side for the round six clash against St George Dragons on Sunday will be named later on Tuesday.

Recent arrival Reece Walsh could be a bolter inclusion, despite only joining the squad from Brisbane Broncos over the weekend.

The Warriors sit 10th after the first five rounds with a two-win, three-loss record, and games against Melbourne Storm, North Queensland Cowboys and Manly Sea Eagles looming over the next month.
