All Whites defender Bill Tuiloma made the highlights reel, despite his Portland Timbers' 2-1 defeat to Seattle Sounders in the US Major League Soccer.

With the Timbers 2-0 down in stoppage time, Tuiloma stepped up over a dead ball and curled in a gorgeous free-kick that gave goalkeeper Stefan Frei no chance.

Tuiloma's whipped free-kick curled late into the side netting, an almost unsavable effort from the Kiwi centre-back.

The goal is just Tuiloma's fourth strike in a Portland shirt, after more than 50 appearances.

"I walked up there and I told Eryk [Williamson] 'hey, let me take this'," he says. "I had belief and I had confidence that I could finish it in the back of the net."

But Tuiloma's masterful free-kick was too little, too late for the Timbers.

The defeat leaves Portland second to last in the Western Conference, with only one win from their first four games of the 2021 MLS season.
