Melbourne Storm have continued their tear through the NRL with a 46-0 demolition of Sydney Roosters in Newcastle on Thursday.
The win is the Storm's 13th straight - all but one of which have come by 16 points or more - moving them two points above Penrith Panthers atop the NRL ladder.
The defending premiers have now scored a combined 112 points in their last two games, after their 66-16 drubbing of Wests Tigers in Round 15.
Wing Josh Addo-Carr ran in a hat-trick of tries to take his competition-leading haul to 19, while Kiwis hooker Brandon Smith also crossed for one of the eight Storm tries, as they made light work of the NRL's fifth-placed side.
The NSW flyer chased down a Cameron Munster kick from long range to score the game's opening try and set the tone for a one-sided contest, as the Storm took an early 8-0 lead and never looked back.
The Storm went into the halftime break with a jaw-dropping 30-0 advantage, which amounted to the Roosters' worst deficit at the break in over 20 years.
Daniel Suluka-Fifita's sinbinning for a late and high tackle on Munster only accentuated the Roosters' problems, as the Storm cruised to victory.
