Cricket: White Ferns skipper Sophie Devine top of the world after vintage T20 display in victory against England

New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine has jumped to the equal top-ranked all-rounder spot in women's T20 cricket.

The White Ferns dynamo has also gained a place on the batting charts, after a vintage performance in the second international against England this week.

In the latest world rankings, Devine joins England's Nat Sciver at the top of the all-rounder charts, while the 32-year-old is up to No.5 in T20 batting ranks.

Devine's all-around dominance in the win over England included a half-century with the bat and 2/28 with the ball.

India's Shafali Verma is the top-ranked T20 batter and Sophie Ecclestone of England is the top-ranked T20 bowler.

Suzie Bates is seventh and Amy Satterthwaite 26th in batting rankings, while Amelia Kerr is 13th and Leigh Kasperek 22th in the bowling rankings.

Game three of the New Zealand-England T20 series is scheduled for Friday morning at Taunton.
