Thats the game - Rahim smacks this one to the mid-wicket boundary for four.

Short and wide and Mahmudullah cracks this one through point for four.
Nine from the Tickner over. BAN 55/3

13th over - Doug Bracewell into the attack

Just three from the Bracewell over - this wicket is horrid for short-form cricket - it's like a day four/five wicket. Awful. BAN 46/3

12th over - Ravindra's last over now

Reverse sweep from Mamudullah and he finds the boundary rope - nice shot for four.
Just the four from the over - Ravindra finishes with 1/21 from his four. BAN 43/3

Just a single off the over. BAN 1/0

Bangladesh innings

17th over - Mustafizur continues

WICKET - Jacob Duffy c Mohammad Saifuddin b Mustafizur Rahman 3 (5b 0x4 0x6) FOW 60

Bowled him! Ajaz yorked and he is heading back. Lowest T20 total by NZ is incoming.

60 is NZ's lowest score - against Sri Lanka at the 2014 World Cup.

WICKET - Doug Bracewell c Mahedi Hasan b Mustafizur Rahman 5 (7b 0x4 0x6)
Bracewell lifts this one straight to fine-leg and he is gone. Horrid shot.

WICKET - Tom Latham c Nasum Ahmed b Mohammad Saifuddin 18 (25b 1x4 0x6) FOW 43/5

Eight runs off the over and that's the end of the powerplay. NZ 18/4

5th over - Mahedi back into the atack - 1/2 from his first.

Just a Latham single off the over, but no wicket!! Woot! NZ 10/4

4th over - Nasum continues.

WICKET - Colin de Grandhomme c Mohammad Naim b Nasum Ahmed 1 (4b 0x4 0x6) FOW 8/3

WICKET - Tom Blundell b Nasum Ahmed 2 (6b 0x4 0x6) FOW 9/4

NZ 9/4

3rd over - Shakib into the attack.

WICKET - Will Young b Shakib Al Hasan 5 (11b 1x4 0x6) FOW 7/2
Young goes. Plays back to a flat straight one and chops the ball back on.....commentator calls it awful piece of batting....this wicket is an awful piece of doctering. NZ 8/2

2nd over - Nasum Ahmed to open from the other end with his left arme spinners.

Ball is turning square - great advertisement for T20 cricket this - Dust bowl...nice work groundsman.
Reverse sweep from Young for four - lovely shot. NZ 6/1

1st over - Mahedi Hasan to bowl the first over.

WICKET - Rachin Ravindra c & b Mahedi Hasan 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) FOW - 1/1
Ravindra chips the arm ball straight back to Hasan and he gets a first-baller on debut. NZ 1/1

9:53pm - None of the this squad are part of the T20 World Cup squad, so it's a NZ A side in disguise. Do they have enough fire power with both bat and ball to compete with a very good home side? We're about to find out.

Hello cricket fans and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the first match of New Zealand's tour of Bangladesh.

First up - the first T20 international from Dhaka with a makeshift Blackcaps side looking to get the better of a very good Bangladesh side that is always comfortable playing in their own conditions.

A recent 4-1 series win against Australia and nine of the last 10 at home against New Zealand is testament to the challenge ahead.

First ball tonight from 10pm.

Bangladesh (probable): Mohammad Naim, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah (capt), Nurul Hasan (wk), Afif Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Nasum Ahmed

The Blackcaps will make at least 10 changes to the side that last played a T20 against Australia earlier this year.

Ajaz Patel is expected to lead a three-man spin attack, which would mean debuts for Cole McConchie and Rachin Ravindra.

New Zealand (probable): Henry Nicholls, Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Tom Latham (capt & wk), Tom Blundell, Cole McConchie, Colin de Grandhomme, Doug Bracewell, Scott Kuggeleijn, Hamish Bennett, Ajaz Patel
