Darts: Fallon Sherrock records incredible match-clinching 170 to roll into knockout stages at Grand Slam of Darts

Fallon Sherrock continues to make history, becoming the first woman to make the knockout stages of the Grand Slam of Darts.

Arguably the most popular darter on the Professional Darts Corperation (PDC) circuit, the 27-year-old came from 3-1 down to produce a stunning comeback in her final qualification match against German No.1 Gabriel Clemens at Wolverhampton.

Sherrock produced a stunning 170 finish to wrap up the match 5-3 and secure her spot in the business end of the tournament.

In 2019, the Brit became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championships in London, prevailing twice on her way to a third-round finish, earning her the moniker ‘Queen of the Palace’.

Sherrock won her only women's world title in 2018, but has since been a constant on the open tour, where she made a final in Norway this year, losing to world No.1 Michael Van Gerwin.

She is currently ranked 10th on the PDC's 2021 order of merit.
