Copy That has claimed an upset victory in this afternoon's New Zealand Trotting Cup, following a record breaking afternoon at Addington Raceway.
Last year's winner Self Assured was the hot favourite for the race - after driver Mark Purdon had claimed an incredible six wins earlier on the card.
But after storming to an early lead, Blair Orange was able to steer last year's beaten favourite to redemption for his second Cup win, having win aboard Cruz Bromac in 2019
Self Assured finished in second and South Coast Arden was third.
Copy That avenged a poor start to the 2020 race to hold on for a clear victory at a near empty Addington, because of COVID alert level restrictions.
