Rugby: Infamous pitch invader 'Jarvo' makes headlines again, lining up for Japan national anthem

Infamous pitch invader 'Jarvo' has struck again making another public appearance - this time during the Ireland v Japan match.

A week after bursting onto the pitch at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and standing alongside All Blacks prop Tyrel Lomax during the New Zealand national anthem, Brit 'Daniel "Jarvo" Jarvis repeated his actions when he ran onto the field to stand alongside the Japanese side during their national anthem - ahead of Sunday's test against Ireland in Dublin.

As the Japan anthem began playing at the Dublin Stadium, cameras panned down the line of the Japanese players but came to rest on one wearing a brave blossoms jersey and looking out of place.

'Jarvo', who is at the start of the line, starts by facing the opposite way to the players so cameras can see his name on the back of his kit before turning around and standing with his hand across his chest on the Japan logo.

But just like last week against the All Blacks, he didn't last long in the brave blossoms line - with security quickly whisking him away.

Ireland put in a resounding performance to thrash Japan 60-5 ahead of their blockbuster encounter against the All Blacks next week.

After making world news for his pitch invasion during the All Blacks game, Jarvo joined The Project earlier this week and explained why he does it.

"I love making people happy, I'm here for the jolly people. If [all the people moaning] weren't moaning at me, they'd be moaning at something else," Jarvis says.

Jarvis is making a name for himself for his pitch invasion. He donned an Indian cricket test jersey and walked out onto the field, until ground commentators noticed, leaving the touring Indians in hysterics.

"Some random chap in whites had made his way into the middle with the Indian players, and he stood there as if he was about to take part in the test match," laughed England great Michael Atherton on Sky Sports.

He also invaded the pitch during the fourth cricket test at The Oval, where he was arrested and charged with aggravated trespass, after appearing to collide with English star Jonny Bairstow.

Let's not be surprised if we see 'Jarvo' again when the All Blacks take on Ireland next Sunday.
