Parker v Chisora II: Derek Chisora sparks awkward 'Bohemian Rhapsody' sing along at bizarre Joseph Parker presser

Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker's opponent Derek Chisora was at his inimitable best - or perhaps, worst - at the final pre-fight press conference before their rematch in Manchester on Sunday (NZ time).

After arriving 20 minutes late, Chisora remained silent throughout the 30-minute press conference, before firing up a portable speaker and blasting the Queen anthem 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

As the fighters and their coaches sat uncomfortably through the song's lengthy introduction, Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn launched into the opening verse with an awkwardly large amount of gusto, as Parker and co. gently swayed and joined in Hearn's singalong, while others could only laugh.

Eventually, Hearn hit the stop button to bring a halt to his solo, as Chisora pulled down his mask to reveal a piece of paper with the words 'Eddie pay me to talk'.

He also refused to shake Duco promoter David Higgins' hand, rejecting the Kiwi with a stern middle-finger salute.

Thankfully, just three days out from the bout, most of the talking has already been done between 'Del Boy' and Parker, who earned a tight split-decision win over the Briton back in May.

Parker - who was significantly more vocal - said he was keen to get back in the ring in front of a crowd and is determined not to let the judges get involved this time around.

"The crowd made Derek feed off of them and having no crowd is pretty weird,' he said, after the first fight was held behind closed doors.

"I am looking to knock him out between round six and 10."

Kiwi David Nyika was also at the table, as he prepares to take to the ring for the second fight of his fledgling professional career on Sunday's undercard.

The Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist said he's thrived training alongside Parker and heavyweight champion Tyson Fury at the boxing hotbed of Morecambe, and is keen to put his improvements to the test and make a statement this weekend.

"I have the opportunity now to let people know who David Nyika is," Nyika said.

"I'm here to stay now in the UK and I'm ready to make my mark and I feel totally blessed to be part of such a great camp."
