Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker and potential next opponent Joe 'Juggernaut' Joyce have come face to face, as speculation over a bout between the two intensifies.

Manager David Higgins has since confirmed to Newshub that no deal is in place to fight Joyce, the pair's interaction will only add fuel to the fire that the two will eventually meet in the ring.

"He's a big guy, big solid guy," Parker said, as the pair were interviewed together by Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions.

"We can't trash talk about each other, because there's nothing bad to say about him. He probably doesn't have anything bad to say about me, but we really want to fight.

"We're guys who don't really talk much, but when we get in the ring, we want to fight [and] smash each other. That's how it is."

Parker last fought in December 2021, defeating Derek Chisora for his sixth successive victory.

Standing 1.98m (6ft 6in), Joyce boasts a CV that contains a 2012 London Olympics silver medal and 13 straight wins, since turning professional.

Most recently, he scored an impressive 10th-round knockout over Daniel Dubois and also boasts a sixth-round TKO over Carlos Takam, whom Parker beat at Auckland in 2016.
