Vikramjit Singh lbw b Henry 25 (47b 1x4 1x6)

This is reportedly his final innings for his country, why not go out swinging? Crunches the final ball through cover for four. How bout this?

1st over - Here we go, can the Dutch get close to this initimidating total? The light have taken effect at Seddon park, as Taylor takes the field by himself to another round of applause.

Matt Henry gets the ball first. Great start for Myburgh who slams two boundaries to get their chase underway. Make that three, cuts a wide one for four more. Great start for the visitors.

That will do us for the NZ innings, which was anchored by two masterful centuries by Martin Guptill (106) and Will Young (120).

Ross Taylor got an opportunity for a late cameo, delighting the crowd with a trademark six over cow corner. He departed for 14 to a rousing ovation, signalling the end of his international career.

Join us back here shortly for the Dutch chase.

46th over - Dutt continues, Latham drops him short for a single. Bracewell plays off his pads for another. Seven off the over.

Colin de Grandhomme c Edwards b Floyd 4 (5b 0x4 0x6)

OUT - M. Bracewell beaten by the flight and the keeper whips off the bails and believes he has the stumping. Umpires send it up for review. Edwards' great work is confirmed.

Michael Bracewell st Edwards b Floyd 3 (3b 0x4 0x6)

Out strolls Tom Latham, not a bad bat to bring in this late in the innings. Pulls for a single. Great over for the visitors.

44th over - Emotional scenes as Taylor's mum watches him depart to rousing applause. Dutt back with some spin. OUT - Young is caught on his pad trying to pull. Umpire says out, but Young will review. Ross Taylor c & b van Beek 14 (16b 0x4 1x6)

Martin Guptill c Edwards b Klaassen 106 (123b 11x4 2x6)

Standing ovation as Taylor makes his way to the middle. Cops his first ball right on the hand. Needs a bit of attention, but he's soon off the mark with a late cut.

38th over - Guptill seems to be feeling the pinch out there, lots of stretching between overs. Rippon back with his spin.

CENTURY - Guptill hoists one over the cover boundary in trademark fashion for six to pass the 100 mark. Patient, classy innings. 17th ODI century for NZ.

37th over - Clear attitude shift here for NZ, as they look to put the foot down. Meanwhile, most at the ground are secretly begging for a wicket. Young cuts for two to bring up 200. Slays Klaassen back over his head for four, thunderous blow.

36th over - Guptill pulls de Leede through midwicket for two, into the nineties he goes. Guptill cuts through backward point for four. Young blasts one over long-on for four to close the over. 14 runs from it.

35th over - This partnership is up to to 163 now, a really measured approach from both of these batters.

When can we mention the elephant in the room - Will Ross Taylor actually get a bat?

Will Young slams one over midwicket for six coming out of the drinks break. Time to accelerate perhaps?

34th over - De Leede returns with his medium pace. Oh no! Young is caught on the boundary but the fielder has misjudged how close to the rope he was, throwing it back in unnecessarily. Had at least a couple of metres behind him.

33rd over - Young sweeps Floyd, well saved on the boundary. Works a single to mid-on. No rush whatsoever from the Blackcaps, very composed.

32nd over - Guptill lofts a high one over long-off for four.

31st over - Floyd back with some spin. Three off the over.

30th over - These two keep ticking the scoreboard over with ease. NZ will be eyeing a hefty total from this position. Guptill struck on the front pad trying to sweep Dutt, big appeal! Umpire says no. They'll review here. Ball is missing, remains not out.

29th over - Guptill ominously cruising here, pulls van Beek for two. Plays late to third man for a single. Young plays over long-on for four.

28th over - Dutt into the bowling attack with some off-spin. Seven off the over.

24th over - Young dances down the wicket and slams Rippon back over his head for six. Gorgeous. That brings up the 100-run partnership between these two.

23rd over - Klaassen back into the attack with his left-arm seamers. Four off the over.

22nd over - Rippon spins away. Beautiful wrong'un, beats Guptill's outside edge and only just misses off-stump. Four off the over.

21st over - Young cuts Seelaar through a gap, they come back for three. FIFTY - Guptill rocks back and pounds a pull shot over the midwicket boundary for six to bring up a hard-fought half-century.

20th over - Rippon continues. Young advances and lofts a drive back over the bowler's head for four. After some early struggles, NZ will be pleased with the platform they've build themselves here. Guptill sweeps another one fine for four to end the over.

19th over - Guptill guides a loose delivery off Seelaar fine for four.

18th over - Michael Rippon enters the attack for Netherlands. On the money from the outset, just three off the over.

17th over - Young punches Seelaar for one. Guptill replicates that effort. More quick singles, NZ starting to find their timing now, putting the pressure back on the Dutch field.

16th over - Six runs off the de Leede over.

15th over - Fifty partnership up between these two. Very measured start, much of that down to some accurate Dutch bowling. Three runs off Seelaar's first over of spin.

14th over - Guptill plays de Leede off the back foot for a run. Free hit for Guptill, fails to cash in. Young sneaks a single to third man.

13th over - Young uses his feet and whips Floyd through long-on for four.

12th over - De Leede continues. The spin of Rippon can't be far away. Free hit for Young, hooks away but can't make contact and misses out. Young plays through midwicket for two. Single to end the over.

11th over - Guptill edgy on the drive off Floyd but he'll pick up a boundary. Sweeps the next delivery for four.

10th over - Bas de Leede into the attack with some medium pace. Sneakily quick single from Young, has his stumps thrown down but he's safely home. The man is rapid. Guptill completely mistimes a pull shot, skies it briefly. Just a single to end a power play Netherlands will be very satisfied with.

9th over - First over of spin for the day from Clayton Floyd. Three runs from the over, solid areas early.

8th over - Just a single off the van Beek over.

7th over - Excellent start by the Dutch bowlers, line and length on the mark. Young looks to free the shackles but mistimes one over cover for just a single. Lovely off drive by Guptill for four, that's the release they were after.

6th over - Van Beek continues. Guptill leaves one and almost has his middle stump collected. Quick single to end the over.

5th over - OUT - Nicholls pulls and misses, the keeper takes it and goes up, big appeal. Umpire says no, they'll ask for a review. Looks a clear edge, Nicholls is on his way.

Henry Nicholls c Edwards b Klaassen 2 (12b 0x4 0x6)

Guptill plays one off his hip to fine leg for four.

4th over - Nicholls pulls firmly but only earns one. Van Beek nips one back off the seam and almost sneaks through Guptill's bat and pad. Guptill cramped on the leg glance, gets some glove on it and it runs away for the first boundary of the day.

3rd over - Klaassen continues. Free hit for Guptill, slashes through cover for two.

2nd over - Logan van Beek to open from the other end. Peach from van Beek, seams one in to the body of Nicholls. Some decent bounce in this pitch. Nicholls plays and misses to end the over, just the wide from it.

1st over - Here we go, Fred Klaassen to Guptill to get us underway. Both batters off the mark with singles. Hint of swing early here for Klaassen.

1:57pm - Taylor has his children lined up next to him for the anthems and the family are belting it out. Special times.

Tears well in his eyes, as he sings the final bar for the final time.

1:52pm - Your Blackcaps playing XI for today:

Martin Guptill, Henry Nicholls, Will Young, Ross Taylor, Tom Latham, Michael Bracewell, Colin de Grandhomme, Doug Bracewell, Ish Sodhi, Kyle Jamieson, Matt Henry

1:32pm - The Blackcaps have won the toss and will bat first in today's final ODI of the home summer. Conditions look superb at Hamilton, here's hoping for a packed Seddon Park.

The first ball is due at 2pm.

Kia ora, good afternoon and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the third Blackcaps v Netherlands one-day international at Hamilton's Seddon Park.

While New Zealand chase a sweep of their three-match series against the Dutch, probably more importantly, they will want to bid fitting farewell to one of their greatest players - master batter Ross Taylor - who plays his last match for his country.

Although the Blackcaps have largely dominated the previous two encounters, winnning by seven wickets and 118 runs respectively, Taylor has been relatively quiet with the bat, scoring just 11 and one.

Not only will New Zealand hope to complete their dominance, they will hope Taylor can put the exclamation mark on a career that has set the standard for international batsmanship.

His test career ended in most improbable fashion, when he took just his third bowling scalp in 112 matches against Bangladesh in January. What can he produce in his white-ball swansong?

While the margin of victory two days ago suggested a comprehensive hometeam performance, Netherlands actually had their hosts 32/5, before captain Tom Latham and his lower order resurrected their innings, eventually compiling 264/9 in their 50 overs.

New Zealand will hope for a more complete performance on such an auspicious occasion. Join us at 1:30pm for the toss.
