That seals the win for Alex, but Ko will have a birdie putt to finish second.

12:38pm

*******

Kia ora, good morning and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the final round of the LPGA Tour's Palos Verdes Championship from California.

After three rounds, Kiwi Lydia Ko is just one shot back from Australia's Hannah Green, chasing what would be her 18th victory on the LPGA Tour.

Ko and Green are paired together for Monday morning's (NZ time) final round, at seven and eight under respectively.

A further nine players are two shots back of Ko in a tie for third, and are by no means out of the contest either, with the likes of USA's Lexi Thompson, South Korea's Inbee Park and Australia's Minjee Lee all part of the chasing pack.

Should Ko manage to win this morning, it would be her second tournament victory of 2022, after taking out first place at the Gainbridge LPGA tournament in Boca Rio back in January.
