Lydia Ko has surged into contention for just her third LPGA title after a terrific third round at the US Women's Open on Sunday (NZ time).
Ko fired an impressive five-under 66 on the third to share a tie for fourth at Pine Needles Golf Club in North Carolina.
Chasing her first major win since 2016, she continued her round-by-round improvement - this time by three shots and is now seven off the lead.
The 25-year-old birdied the first hole, before further birdies on the eighth, 10th and 12th - with a bogey on the 15th her only blight of the day.
Ko would hit two more birdies on the 16th and 18th hole to cap off a brilliant penultimate round.
Her current share of fourth-place is only bettered by Bronte Law at seven-under, Mina Harigae at 10-under and Australian rival Minjee Lee, who leads at 13-under.
