Kiwi UFC star Israel Adesanya has left fans stunned, after posting a sex video meme to social media, before deleting the post.
The video, posted to Adesanya's Instagram story, shows a man having sex with a woman, urging the woman to utter the phrase "go the f****** Warriors" during the act.
In Adesanya's post, the caption "f*** this warrior s***" is written as a reference to the film Once Were Warriors.
The post has since been deleted, but not before it spread to other social media sites.
"Damn Israel Adesanya posted this on his IG story and deleted it," one user posted. "Lmfao that boy is wylin."
"Stylebender… what in tarnation," wrote another user.
"@stylebender... whats [sic] with the insta story?" wrote another.
This is not Adesanya's first brush with controversy on social media.
In January 2021, Adesanya was called out, after posting the phone number of someone who owed him money, encouraging his followers to send threatening messages to coerce them to pay up.
In March 2021, Adesanya was forced to apologise for posting he would "rape" fellow middleweight fighter Kevin Holland, a move that cost him an ambassadorial role with BMW.
Adesanya is the reigning UFC middleweight champion, with a 22-1 record as a professional fighter, and will defend his crown against American Jared Connonier at Las Vegas on July 3 (NZ time).
