Super Smash: Dad snares sensational one-handed catch off Ross Taylor six while holding kid during Auckland Aces v Central Stags

Parenting - especially during the school holidays - can be a bit of a juggling act.

But one dad in attendance at Auckland Aces' Super Smash clash with Central Stags at Pukekura Park on Thursday had no qualms with having his hands full.

Making his way around the boundary with his son tucked under one arm, the super dad casually threw up his hand - a leftie, to boot - to pluck a sensational catch out of the sky, after Stags batter and Blackcaps great Ross Taylor had hoisted another six.

He basked in the most raucous crowd reaction of the day, holding the ball aloft in triumph while his nonplussed son looked on completely unimpressed.

The six was one of four in a whirlwind knock by Taylor, who slammed 50 off 40 balls, as the Stags successfully chased down the Aces total of 150/9 with three balls and four wickets remaining.
