NRL: Rocco Berry to make first NZ Warriors appearance of season against Canterbury Bulldogs

  • 09/05/2023

Rocco Berry will make his NRL appearance of the year, after being named in the NZ Warriors' run-on side to tackle the Canterbury Bulldogs on Friday.

Berry will partner Adam Pompey in the centres, with Marcelo Montoya moving to the wing to replace the injured Ed Kosi.

Concussion has also ruled out Jackson Ford, with Josh Curran promoted in his place to make up a strong Warriors forward pack.

Ronald Volkman has been given the No.6 jersey, with Dylan Walker reverting back to his preferred role off the interchange bench.

The Warriors are looking to snap a three-match losing streak, which has seen them plummet to 11tt on the NRL ladder.

Their opponents meanwhile, have won just one of their past five games, and are coming off a defeat to Canberra Raiders.
