Livestream: Football Ferns named to represent New Zealand at Women's Football World Cup in NZ, Australia

THIS LIVESTREAM HAS ENDED

Next month, the world's best female footballers will descend on New Zealand and Australia for the FIFA Women's World Cup.

Thirty-two teams will play 64 games across 32 days at 10 venues. For the Kiwi women, the tournament offers a rare chance to perform at a World Cup on home soil, after attending five previous events offshore.

The Football Ferns have yet to win a game at a World Cup and have not progressed past poolplay, so this tournament looms as another chance to achieve those milestones.

Thirty-one players have been in camp preparing for this day, but coach Jitka Klimkova must now cut that squad back to 23, with friends, whānau and former Ferns presenting successful players with their jerseys.

Join us at 12:15pm for the Football Ferns team announcement at Eden Park, where New Zealand will open the tournament against Norway on July 20.
