Kia ora, good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of this NRL round 20 clash between NZ Warriors and Cronulla Sharks from Go Media Stadium Mt Smart.

With these two sides sitting fifth and seventh on the ladder respectively, with just two points separating them, today's clash promises to be special.

For the second time this season, the Warriors face the Sharks - fresh from their biggest victory of the year against the Eels last weekend.

Today is a special one for Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson, for a number of reasons.

The 32-year-old this week put pen to paper on a new one-year contract to stay at Mt Smart, and topped it off by welcoming his second child.

To cap it off, he'll square off against his former side Cronulla, after steering the Warriors to victory from 20-0 down earlier this year.

Cronulla meanwhile will look to make amends for that loss, albeit without inspirational forward Dale Finucane, suspended for this week.

After missing out on State of Origin yet again, Nicho Hynes will captain the Sharks, still the reigning Dally M medallist for the best player in the NRL.
