Rising Kiwi boxers Mea Motu and Lani Daniels have confirmed their opponents for their Northland homecoming for a pair of title bouts in December.
The world champ duo will feature in a doubleheader at Whangārei's McKay Stadium on December 2.
Pukepoto native Mea Motu will defend her super bantamweight belt against India's Chandni Mehra, while Pipiwai's Daniels puts her heavyweight title on the line against Australia's Desley Robinson.
At just 22 years old, Mehra already has 17 fights to her name and is amid a three-fight win streak.
Queenslander Robinson (5-1) has won her last two fights but is stepping up a division to make her heavyweight debut.
Both fighters are fresh off impressive wins in Auckland, when Motu brushed off a dislocated shoulder to defeat Malawi’s Ellen Simwaka, while Daniels finished South African Razel Mohammed in the fourth round to retain her IBF world heavyweight title.
