American Abby Lampe has been here before, hurtling down a steep 180-metre hill in Gloucestershire, hoping to catch up with the cheese rolling away a few seconds ahead.

Some say the delicacy reaches speeds of 110kph in its descent - the humans, not so fast, maybe 50kph.

"You just have to roll, but it's going to be temporary," said Lampe of North Carolina, after her second victory in the event.

Aussie Dylan Twiss takes out one of three men's races. His tactics...

"When I could get my feet down, push."

American YouTuber and rapper IShowSpeed is sure he has the technique to win, but quickly finds out there's a certain finesse required. As he's helped to an ambulance, he's asked if he'll be back.
