An 11-night cruise on the Radiance of the Seas scheduled to set off next week from Australia to New Zealand has been cancelled, Royal Caribbean has announced.

The cruise was due to depart from Sydney and stop at the Bay of Islands, Auckland, Akaroa and Dunedin.

Royal Caribbean said repairs needed to be done on the ship's propulsion system.

The Radiance of the Seas is currently operating a cruise between Brisbane and Sydney. According to the company, none of the guests currently on board will be impacted, but the repairs need to be done soon to allow for a busy schedule ahead.

Royal Caribbean is currently contacting everyone booked on the cruise, who it plans to give a full refund as well as a credit with the cruise company to the same value as their booking.

Customers who were booked on the cruise are advised to contact their local travel agent or Royal Carribbean directly on 0800 102 123.
