Historic Coronation Street set left in ruins

New photos of what used to be the hallowed pavements of Coronation Street have shocked hardcore fans of the show.

Production of the record-breaking soap moved to a new location in 2013, since then the old set located in central Manchester has been left to deteriorate.

One fan posted their disgust on social media. "It's like Mike Baldwin had been left in charge!"

ITV, the network that makes the show that has been running since 1960 moved production which would allow them to create an HD friendly set. In other words, wouldn't look fake when filmed in high definition.
