Man Tasered, kicked off American Airlines flight for 'fondling' female passenger

Footage from an American Airlines flight on Monday night (local time) shows the moment a man was Tasered by police after allegedly fondling a fellow passenger in front of her partner.

Jacob Garcia caused a plane-load of people to have to evacuate the aircraft, before he was forcibly removed by authorities ahead of a flight from Miami to Chicago.

Garcia was accused of making racial slurs while the flight was still grounded in Florida.

In video of the incident, he can be heard asking officers why they have chosen to remove him from the plane.

"Well, you just assaulted a lady for one; you're racist for two," another passenger retorted.

After getting in a scuffle with officers, Garcia was then Tasered.

American Airlines responded to the incident, thanking those that removed the unruly Garcia from the flight.

"American began the process of deplaning the entire aircraft. During that process, a physical altercation between the same two passengers took place," a statement read.

"Once law enforcement was on the aircraft, the passenger then became combative with the officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department.

"We thank our crews and airport customer service team for their excellent work in this situation."
