Air New Zealand's Grabaseat is selling domestic airfares for as low as $9 one way on Wednesday.
As well as the below-cost domestic fares, the airline is also selling international flights at extremely low prices.
The deals out of Auckland include one way flights to Houston from $349, Los Angeles from $549 and San Francisco from $499.
Prices on flights to Asia from Auckland have dropped to $315 one way to Shanghai, $419 to Hong Kong and $425 to Singapore.
Flights to Australia begin at $119 one way and flights to Fiji are available for $99.
