Air Tahiti Nui is preparing for the arrival of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, and to celebrate they're offering airfares to Tahiti for $787.
Economy airfares from Auckland to Papeete start at NZ$787 and NZ$1287 for premium economy seats.
There are restrictions on some dates for the special airfare.
The airline has purchased two Dreamliners and will lease two more to make up a fleet of four.
The first Air Tahiti Nui Dreamliner has been named Fakarava and has been painted in a special livery based on the traditional blue colours of Tahiti as well as its iconic flower on the tail.
Air Tahiti Nui's first Boeing 787-9 will arrive in Auckland on 8 November.
