Drag queens descended upon Queenstown this week for Winter Pride, bringing glitz and glamour with a special one-night-only cabaret dinner.
Iconic Kiwi drag queen Miss Kola was the host of the dinner and after-dinner soirée on Wednesday night, joined by half a dozen other drag queens strutting their stuff.

Even the local police turned up for the occasion, with New Zealand's only Pride police car arriving in style to kick off the night.
Around 120 people attended the VIP cabaret dinner and the numbers almost doubled in size for the soirée, hosted at QT Queenstown's Bazaar and Reds bar.
Miss Kola spoke to The AM Show before the performance and warned people to be ready.
"We've got some of the best performers in New Zealand coming down to entertain all our national and international guests, so I'm very very excited about that!"
It took her more than two hours to get fully glammed up, ready to take the stage for her captive audience.
The starlet opened the show with a performance to Maisey Rika's 'Tangaroa Whakamautai', to rapturous applause - quickly followed by an incredibly pink and glittery interpretation of the always classic 'It's Raining Men' by other attending drag queens.
After almost two hours of performances the soirée came to an end the same way it began: with a whole heap of bright colours, sequins and far too many feathers.
The event also included a silent auction, raising funds for the community's Wakatipu Youth Trust and the NZ AIDS Foundation.
