'Disgusting' drug-fuelled Sex Island Las Vegas announced

The notorious 'drug-friendly' Sex Island event is happening again, this time in the United States.

Organised by Good Girls Company, the holiday package will provide guests with two sex workers for four days, along with unlimited alcohol.

While previous events have allowed drug use that reportedly consisted mostly of cocaine, the US Sex Island is restricted to cannabis only - which is legal in the state of Nevada.

It's also the only state in the US where prostitution is legally permitted in some form.

Previous Sex Island events have been labelled "disgusting" and "sick", with authorities in various countries threatening to deport anyone trying to attend and prosecute the organisers.

The 2019 Las Vegas event, which is scheduled to take place from July 4 - 7, is selling tickets for US$6000.

"Guests will be taken from Las Vegas International Airport by our private helicopter to our discreet location in Nevada. Enjoy the company of 100 beautiful girls in our alcohol and marijuana friendly environment," says the event's official website.

"The girls' mission is to please you and make you feel like a king... Enjoy breathtaking surroundings with your girls at the one and only Sex Island."

Originally set to take place off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia, the original Sex Island Experience had to be moved to a secret location after local authorities moved to ban it.

Tabloid The Sun interviewed someone claiming to be a 33-year-old dentist from New York who went along and described it as "the craziest thing I've ever done in my life".

"Drugs were available all the time... pills, poppers, cocaine and all the big ones," said the person identified as 'Nick'.

He claimed that "just 15 minutes into the trip" he was in bed with his allotted two sex workers.

'Nick' also reported that the customers were mostly American, but also included Australians, Brits and Canadians.
