Air New Zealand increasing number flights to Bali

Air New Zealand has announced it will almost double its capacity on services between Auckland and Bali.

Its seasonal service in 2020 will have 30,000 additional seats compared to flights this year.

Air NZ currently operates three services per week between Auckland and Bali, from late June through until mid-October, using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

Next year, the national carrier will begin its seasonal services from the earlier date of April 11 through to October 24, and will increase the frequency to six services a week.

In January, Emirates reduced the number of flights it operates between Auckland and Bali, which until then was the only year-round flight between the two destinations. The flight, which then continued on to Dubai, decreased from daily to four times a week.

Other airlines such as Qantas, Virgin Australia and Jetstar offer non-direct services to Bali with stopovers in Australia.
